“I posted an ad on Craigslist asking for a reasonable mechanic to work on my boat. I have a 2002 Pro Kat with twin four stroke Suzuki’s that I let sit too long without running. One of the motors would not start. I received a call from M & M Marine Services and scheduled an appointment for them to see the boat on it’s dock in Vero Beach. Mark and Marty both came out and diagnosed the problem with the fuel pump having gummed up with varnish from not running. They provided a reasonable estimate and left without charging a fee for their time since I assured them they would do the repair. We set up a time for them to take my trailer, help me load the boat and they would tow to their shop in Fort Pierce, repair and call me for a water test. My trailer had also been sitting and when the boat was loaded, all of the tires needed air and one required towing to a tire shop for repair. This process took one and one-half hours, not including the time to tow from Vero to Fort Pierce. The work was complete in a few days and I met them in Fort Pierce for a test run. We decided to drive the boat to Vero with Mark while Marty drove to Vero to bring me back to my truck and trailer in Fort Pierce. The boat has never run better, the price was exactly as quoted and I couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend using M & M for your next marine mechanic need. Thanks again to both Mark and Marty.”
